Unistal is a solution provider of domain focused services for Oil & Gas industry. Headquartered in New Delhi and Development center in NOIDA, UNISTAL has offices at Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Pune and Mumbai.
UNISTAL boasts of executing more than 65 projects on PIMS (Pipeline Information Management System) since 7 years.
Our experienced engineers have designed tools and solutions for integrated Oil & Gas operations management,GIS based Asset and Integrity management Solutions, GIS based City Gas pipeline network monitoring system, conversion of CAD and legacy maps to GIS formats. UNISTAL has created an integration platform comprising of a suite of advance analysis tools in the areas of reservoir monitoring, real time production surveillance, workflows for operations management, production optimization and decision support.
In this way UNISTAL has established itself as the most trusted provider, consistently delivering customized, cutting edge geo-spatial and engineering solutions on time and under budget.
UNISTAL employs a structured systems development methodology in all phases of the project management. UNISTAL's GIS team provides full service support to its clients through all steps of a project's life cycle.
UNISTAL's approach follows well-defined phases that comply with professional IT implementations and best industry practices. Every project during all its phases is managed by PMP certified professionals and is documented at every process level.
UNISTAL's planning approach and recommendations take all aspects of enterprise GIS systems into consideration: software, hardware, data, and data flows, current and potential applications, existing systems and work flows, staffing and system administration, user training and technical support, and budgetary goals and constraints.
UNISTAL's GIS professionals approach a project through an industry standard project management program.
UNISTAL conducts a comprehensive pre-design system analysis study to get to know the existing data, hardware and software infrastructure and identify any dependencies whether technological or organizational. Acquisition of functional requirements (to identify current technology, users, task workflow and expected outcome) is also an imperative part of the requirement definition phase.
In this phase, the UNISTAL team conceptualizes the technical solution in terms of software functionality and system behaviors. Data and functional requirements are defined and incorporated into the business model. Processes and information flows are reviewed with respect to the conceptual solution. User input and output are defined, and the logical and physical data schemas and data model are prepared.
The team uses the requirement and design documents to construct a working system prototype that can be tested, integrated and eventually deployed. The UNISTAL Team prides itself in being expert at the Agile software development method. The Agile method of development promotes development iterations, teamwork, collaboration, and process adaptability throughout the lifecycle of the project.
UNISTAL team has dedicated resources to perform industry-standard testing processes during and after the development phase. Once an initial internal release has been handed over to the QA team, the testing engineers begin working in parallel, testing the work-in-progress applications and reporting problems. All quality assurance processes and reports are well documented, thus ensuring maximum bug tracking and fixes.
Once the testing phase has been completed and a final version of the developed application has been released, a complete software package is delivered to the client. UNISTAL's team of domain experts install the application at the client’s premises and perform a test run before handing it over to the end users, managers or administrator.
After deployment, depending upon the nature of the project, UNISTAL offers consultation services for a short period of time; after which a maintenance contract (if agree upon between the two parties) takes effect. All further technical support, version releases and training services are also provided.
